Check Out Fancy Friendship Bracelets (Klutz) for $13.19

Fancy Friendship Bracelets (Klutz) Review

Fancy Friendship Bracelets (Klutz) Overview

We published Friendship Bracelets in 1996. Thirteen years and 2.3 million copies later, it has clearly established itself as a Klutz classic. A best-selling classic, in fact. It's a hard act to follow — only a fool would even attempt it. So, of course, we couldn’t resist. Introducing Fancy Friendship Bracelets, the original Friendship Bracelet's new best friend. We started with super-simple instructions for a flock of all-new bracelet designs. We added five different colors of cord and more than 200 sparkling beads. Then we threw in some stylish charms for good measure. The result is even better than we hoped. Fans of the first book will love this new one. With the how-to know-how of Anne Akers Johnson, the sparkle of beads and charms, and the novelty of all-new bracelet designs, Fancy Friendship Bracelets compliments the original book without duplicating it. So we’re keeping both books in print. This is the start of a beautiful friendship.

Friendship Bracelets (Klutz) Review

I bought one of these friendship books about eight years ago out of curiosity. I can't even remember how I learned about it. I'm not good with handicrafts. What is so nice about this book is that in addition to the nice photographs and illustrations, the book includes embroidery floss, beads, and a little clip on the cover of the book that gives one a place to make the bracelets. I could do what are considered the easiest bracelets. My husband and my son got involved with this book as well and enjoyed making some of the more complicated patterns and helped me weave the complicated patterns also. My husband is pretty good at the weaving. My son enjoyed some of the patterns. My son was already a teenager. This is not a typical activity for men or young men. I doubt I'd give this book to fellows or invite a bunch of guys over on Super Bowl Sunday to make friendship bracelets. But these are fun! I bought this book with the idea of giving it to one person, but then sent it as a forget-me-not present to someone else. The former happening is tacky, but so often we wish to remember people who don't have time to be remembered. This is a nice little book to send to people one rarely sees and of whom we have happy memories, especially if we know that they do any sort of handicraft. This book is not only for middle school and younger girls. You just have to know your audience.

From what I understand, many other books with the same theme do not include the supplies to make the bracelets. This is where Klutz is a good deal.

Friendship Bracelets - Anne Tracey - Victoria, Australia
Fantastic resource if you are looking for a book to guide you in how to create friendship bracelets. It is wonderfully designed so that you can clip your bracelet onto the book, it will be held steady while you easily view the instructions and work on the bracelet. Several colours of floss and beads are included. I was very happy with my purchase - this is the perfect choice for beginners. Although it is intended for children, it is suitable for adults as well (of which I am one!).

Great for kids - Jen C - VT
My cousin loved this. There was a lot of nice patterns to choose from and a nice set of starter colors.

Great Book - -
The book is great!!! It explains everything perfectly... It has excellent diagrams and the instructions are clear... once you know how to do the knots backwards and forwards and master it... all the patterns become easy! Klutz has great books and I loved it! Now I make them everyday!
